Dr Paul Gooding is a Senior Lecturer in Information Studies at the University of Glasgow. His research explores how perspectives from data science and the digital humanities can be applied to studying users of digital library and archival collections. He is the author of Historic Newspapers in the Digital Age: "Search All About It!", and co-editor of Electronic Legal Deposit: Shaping the Library Collections of the Future. Paul has led projects including Digital Library Futures, which investigates the impact of non-print legal deposit in the United Kingdom, and the Network to Investigate the Development of a Global Dataset of Digitised Texts.
